Have you ever looked into someone’s eyes and seen your entire future?
The baby blues are the cloudless days you spend together, giggling and teasing and loving. The baby blues are the waters of the oceans that kiss the sand of all of the crevices of the world you’ll discover together. The baby blues are the rays from the sunshine that light up each others’ lives.
The midnights are the snuggled, cuddled nights together, enveloped in blankets and warmth and naked skin. The midnights are the darkness of the deepest secrets each of you spill to one another as your walls fall down and your hearts beat in time. The midnights are the swaying in the moonlight to live music, arms wrapped around each other drunk on alcohol, love, and each other.
The whites are the beginnings, the firsts, the lasts, the forevers, and the always. The whites are the breaking of the first snow with boots and mittens and hot chocolate, the fluffy clouds teasing and playing with the sky, the lace dress that gets a little messy from wiping cake frosting on each other and dancing like fools in love on the floor. The whites are the devotion, the connection, the all or nothing bond, the “I’ll always be yours and you’ll always be mine.”
Have you ever looked into someone’s eyes and known with every part of your soul that your future was staring back at you?
